This project entailed creating a portfolio based on something that was personal to me. An easy choice for me, the My Pin Portfolio was designed to showcase the collection of pins and buttons I have acquired over the past decade or so. Because I wanted the website to be reflective of the collection itself, I specifically chose typography that had a metal look for headers but maintained readability  while the body copy added texture without compromising clarity. The color palette mimics a picture of my first jean jacket, which became the repository of my initial collection. Consistent layout design, predictable navigation, and straightforward visual hierarchy allow the user to navigate easily between sections.
